The packaging however was very cheap! The color of the fabric is kind of a plum, but it's very sheer and over a white underlayer. It has nice lace detail on the underskirt at the hem, but otherwise is a bit plainer in person than I expected, needs some bling to go with it. The sizing seems to vary. I ordered 2 dresses in a size 6 for my bridesmaids, and one was a full 2 inches bigger in the waist than the other. This is a pretty dress, and seems to be well made. The packaging however was very cheap! The color of the fabric is kind of a plum, but it’s very sheer and over a white underlayer. It has nice lace detail on the underskirt at the hem, but otherwise is a bit plainer in person than I expected, needs some bling to go with it. The sizing seems to vary. I am a medium but often when shopping online buy a large just in case the fit is smaller than I am anticipating, but this dress fit with NO room to spare in the L/XL!!! I am a 38DDD bust, 30 in. waist and 39 in. hips. There is no way a medium would have fit! Not crazy about the quality of the dress either. It definitely will have to be washed on super delicate (if there were such a thing). The quality is not the best. Threading seems fragile. And of course, there is the matter of the dress being made backward. The elastic band under the material around the top that tightens for the "tube top" effect is twisted so it can't be straightened without cutting it open (probably replacing the band altogether) and then restitching it, which I am not inclined to do (if I could sew I'd make my own clothes instead of shopping online)! I'll probably keep the dress because I hate returns. But it is sexy...just has functional issues. If you're worried about size - go larger. If you're larger than a size large - go to a different dress, you'll just be frustrated. The dress was gorgeous and just looked like good quality. Another seller called PacificPlex sells this same dress called a 50's satin strapless dress, but I prefer this one by the seller GoJane. It costs a few more dollars, but it's worth it. The color was vibrant and shining. The dress was gorgeous and just looked like good quality. Another seller called PacificPlex sells this same dress called a 50′s satin strapless dress, but I prefer this one by the seller GoJane. It costs a few more dollars, but it’s worth it. Go with GoJane for better quality dress.

I ordered these for my bridesmaids and could not be more thrilled with them! They are exactly the shade shown online. We were confused about the sizing chart however. So, here’s a helpful hint – choose the size according to the bust measurement. Disregard the other measurements altogether. It’s the cutest dress, it really is! I have 4 bridesmaids in different sizes and shapes and it looks great on them all. And of course it comes with straps and with a wrap if you want to change up the look a bit.
